On Saturday my squad left Colombia after living there for 7 weeks. We spent 72 hours traveling, 30 of those on a plane. We made it to Vietnam on Wednesday and spent our first day doing orientation, shopping, and learning about the culture. Since then we have met many kind people who take such good care of us. Our host family and the other families on the team are such kind, genuine, generous people and they go out of their way to make sure our needs are met.

My team will be teaching English classes and helping with flood relief during our time here. The kids in the class are so sweet and fun to be around. They are full of energy!
I love this small town we are in and can’t wait to see what the Lord has in store!
