On Saturday night we arrived in Medellin, Colombia and were welcomed by our ministry host, Gracia! We were generously given 2 apartment floors with very nice living spaces. There is a church and bakery on the first floor!
We went to the church on Sunday and the music was amazing! This week we have helped with washing and cleaning vegetables and recycling.
On Wednesday night we went to pass out bread to homeless people. It was the most devastating thing I have ever seen. The people were extremely high and I saw many things I wish I hadn’t. Please pray for these people and for my squad as we are still processing everything.
Being in Colombia has had highs and lows. It is beautiful and I have loved time with my squad. But the culture is extremely different and it does not feel safe here. Walking around town today made me extremely anxious. It makes me so grateful for my home and the safety there.
Please continue praying for my squad and for the lost people here. Please also pray for me mentally and spiritually. I have had a really hard time with the culture here and am very anxious. Thank you to everyone who prays and supports me!
