Vietnam was incredible. The people were some of the kindest people I’ve ever met. They are generous and caring. They show love and put others needs above their own. They have motivated me to be more generous and caring because I’ve seen the positive effects it has on people. They love like Jesus without even knowing Him. The country is a closed country and most people are Buddhists, which is heartbreaking. Speaking with some of the locals, I realized that all they want in life is some sort of purpose. They search for that in grades, relationships, and just trying their hardest to be a good person. Those things never satisfy and it’s so hard to watch them continue to search.
I love the people of Vietnam and I truly hope to go back some day. I made some incredible friends and I felt like I had a family there. Please pray for the Vietnamese people, that they would find their purpose in Christ and not in things of the world. Pray that they would commit themselves to the one true God, and not to idles or ancestors. And please continue to pray for my team as we are now in the Philippines with a new ministry. Thank you to everyone who has supported and prayed for me! You are so loved!
